Caring can be a rewarding experience, but it can also be stressful and difficult. Many carers experience a range of feelings related to their role as a carer. Emotions like anger, depression, anxiety, loneliness, loss and grief are very common.

Counselling can help with these feelings. It can also help build resilience and wellbeing, as well as provide tools to better handle stress and conflict. Talking through your concerns with one of our counsellors or psychologists could really help you to get back on track.

Centacare NENW’s Carers Counselling is offered with the support of Carers NSW. Carers can access up to six sessions with a psychologist or counsellor; delivered face to face from our offices, over the phone, or via videoconference.
