Our Moree team joined local organisations and community members for a Community Soup Day in support of Homelessness Week.

Held on the steps of the Town Hall, the event brought together Byamee, Quit B Fit, Moree Plains Shire Council, Carer Gateway, JobLink and Anglicare to raise awareness of homelessness in the local community and provide a welcoming space for people to connect.

Community members were treated to warm soup, damper, tea, coffee, Milo and juice throughout the morning. Our wonderful staff member, Fallyn, prepared a hearty pot of chicken and vegetable soup—and we’re proud to say she returned to the office with an empty pot!

It was a fantastic morning of community connection and collaboration, highlighting the importance of working together to support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
